Great Article Dan!
Dan you are so right. Deal with this issuee everyday. Thanks Paul
This really does give you something to think about. When you are aware of the mindset of your clients it makes communicating with them sooo much easier! Thanks for bringing this to light.
I’m glad I’m not the ONLY one that sees this pitfall! I’m astounded by how many people are “on the plastic” way too much durring the day. I always ignore any incoming calls when in front of a client/customer. I tell them, “I’m ignoring that. The most important person is the one in front of me right now…and that’s YOU!”. That ALWAYS makes them smile and feel appreciated! Then they buy stuff from me! Additionally, this overuse of email/texting is ridiculous. The immediate feedback of a phone call makes quick work of many scheduling, personnel, and price issues. I can accomplish more in a short phone call than the time it takes to send one text…that may not be answered for a while.

Thank for the article. As you well know, I’m like you and only have my “LG Phone” with me when I’m out of the house. I look forward to the day when whipping out your phone every 30 seconds will be socially unacceptable.
However, with that said, as a marketer we all have to be aware that more and more people are only using mobile devices to access the internet and if your website is not responsive, you are losing out on a lot. A responsive website knows what device the user is using and automatically adjusts what is displayed to fit the screen of the device.
Gee I sound smart. Not really, you know that Duston is the one that called that to my attention and then went to work on our sites to make sure they are responsive.
